Benefits of Alternative Therapy
Sometimes alternative therapy can work where traditional methods have failed. Say for example someone were suffering with depression, the current standard treatment for depression is anti-depressants (and sometimes in addition Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Perhaps the client is against taking medication or medication was not providing the relief they need, they may look to alternative therapy to help alleviate their symptoms and resolve and release the original causes and triggers for the depression.
Some alternative therapies someone with depression might try could include hypnotherapy, NLP or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). Hypnotherapy and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) have been around for a longer duration than EFT, EFT is an exciting alternative therapy. It has been called one of the most remarkable health innovations in the last 100 years.
EFT as an alternative therapy has it’s basis in Chinese acupuncture and psychology but instead of using needles you simply tap on well established meridian points on the upper body. EFT is a painless and relaxing method of healing and alternative therapy. Hypnotherapy and EFT have been known to be effective for treating some forms of depression in that they help sufferers understand the reasons and negative beliefs that are underlying, once these are resolved it can help lift depression. Often the chemical changes that occur within the brain with depression are triggered by emotions, often from childhood, once these are cleared and resolved great relief can be felt. Once these changes have been made at a core level, Hypnotherapy, EFT and NLP can be used to help the client focus on a happier present and future, a way forward and a more positive self image all of which help the client become more resilient in dealing with life’s future challenges. If you are suffering with depression and traditional methods have not worked for you than looking into what alternative therapy treatments are available could help you find the relief you need.

Alternative Therapy question by anonymousenlightenedgirl: Is there an herbal or alternative therapy to use instead of heparin?
I have a friend that wants to know if there are any alternatives to heparin. She keeps having miscarriages. The only time she was able to carry a pregnancy to term was when she was on heparin. However, her doctors seem to think it is unrelated and will not put her back on heparin.
She believes it was the heparin that allowed her to have her first child. She has had many, many miscarriages. I believe the number is over 25 at least. When she was taking the heparin, she was able to not abort. I don’t know if is a coincidence or not.
